AI job matching
AI job matching that tells you why
Every job gets a 0 to 100 match score against your resume, with one plain sentence on its main strength and its main gap.
A score you can check
Most job feeds sort by date or keyword. That leaves you reading dozens of postings to find the few that fit. ApplyRunner reads each posting against your resume and gives it a score from 0 to 100, so the best fits rise to the top.
A number alone isn't enough to trust, so each score comes with its reason: the strongest thing you bring to the role and the biggest thing the posting asks for that your resume doesn't show. You see up to three missing must-haves, so you can judge the fit yourself.
What you see for every job
- A match score from 0 to 100, based on your resume and the posting only.
- One sentence naming the main strength and the main gap.
- Up to three must-haves the posting asks for that your resume doesn't show.
Matching sets the bar for applying
Your minimum match score is the line between roles worth applying to and roles that aren't. It starts at 70 and you can change it any time.
- Below your minimum: the job stays in your list but is never sent.
- At or above your minimum: the job can be checked and made ready to send.
- In Hybrid mode, jobs at or above your auto threshold go out on their own; the rest wait for you.
Fresh roles, without the noise
Roles come from job feeds and company career pages. The same job posted in several places is merged into one, closed postings are removed, and words you add to rule out titles (for example sales or intern) keep those roles out of your list.
Questions
What is the match score based on?
Your resume and the job posting. The score reflects how well your experience fits what the role asks for, from 0 to 100.
Can I change the minimum score?
Yes. It starts at 70. Raise it to apply more selectively, or lower it to see more roles. Jobs under the minimum are never sent.
How does the score affect Hybrid mode?
In Hybrid, jobs at or above your auto threshold (85 to start) are sent automatically when they're ready. Everything else waits for your approval.
Does the score decide my visa or salary answers?
No. The score only ranks fit. Hard facts like work authorization, sponsorship and salary come only from answers you've confirmed.
